Subject / category:

When you start a new subject, use a clear and short title which clarifies the content and place the message in the correct category. In this manner we ensure the order and clarity of the forum. The VLGN has the right to change a subject title or to replace the subject in the correct category, or remove the subject.

Content subjects / message / signature?:

In relation to the content of subject, messages and signature, there are a number of items which will be removed. If necessary, the user account will be removed:
- pornographic or erotic material
- distasteful, violent or shocking material
- Warez and illegal media (music, software, films e.g.)
- Racist material or material of a discriminatory nature
- Programs or scripts which can damage computers (viruses)
- Cursing, intimidation, manipulation, name calling and any other behaviour deemed aggressive and/or uncalled for.


Forum rules

In the forum the following, general, rules apply:

- do not place two messages in a row
- stay on topic; in other words, don?t drift away from the subject
- do not make endless use of capitals in your message
- Placing an array of futile, meaningless messages is forbidden.
- Do not impersonate someone else (for example by creating multiple accounts.
- Forum-VLGN is a forum for discussion, it is not a billboard
- Please refrain from subjects not covered by the purpose of the forum.
- Do not offend other people.
- The forum is not an arena to battle out arguments with other people, ensure you do not start them on the forum.
- Do not place things that are connected to people?s private lives.
- When using texts, mention the source (if known). You are responsible for the content of your message.

Editing / closing / removing texts

The VLGN has the right toe edit, close or remove any items from members or visitors, in case one or more of the rules mentioned above are not adhered to. Also items which in content are not compatible with the forum or it?s purpose, can be edited, closed or removed. If an items has been edited, closed or removed and explanation will be given if the person in question applies for it by email.
